The serial number plate on the bottom of my frame seems to be pushing against the X300. I can cram the light on but once it's mounted it's a huge project getting it off. Also, because the plate causes the light to have a slight tilt up the gun doesn't fit securely in my holster, it just kinda mushes it's way in. If I put the rail lock on the light sits fine on the gun but my holster was molded for the latch. It will still fit but not as securely as it should but better than with the latch on. So..... I was thinking of dremeling/filing down the universal plate a little bit, it looks like it's raised higher near the hinge than the rail lock plate is. Any reason not to do that, or does anyone have a better idea? Many thanks in advance!
