The Lowlight Carbine course is designed to provide each student with the core skills needed to properly use the carbine in a safe and effective manner while operating in lowlight defensive situations with a carbine. The course curriculum covers the following topics: principles of lowlight operations, handheld lighting techniques, weapon-mounted lighting techniques,marksmanship fundamentals, shoot/no shoot decision making, shooting on the move, and extensive shooting drills at various distances in a lowlight environment.


Prerequisites: Ability to safely load, unload, and accurately fire a carbine

Location: Carthage, NC

Cost: $175

Equipment Requirements:

Functional rifle/carbine (any caliber)
500 rounds of ammunition
3 magazines/speedloaders/stripper clips (minimum)
Method of carrying magazines/loaders/clips
Sling (optional but preferred)
Handheld flash light with spare batteries
Weapon mounted light with spare batteries (optional)
