Just bought an H-1 with Larue mount, so I'm good, but this is a hell of a deal....Don't know anything about the mount, but it's made by Aimpoint so it should be okay.

I just came here to start this exact thread:p. Seriously, I know they're not a "site sponsor" but this company (Primary Arms) is my favorite vendor to order from. I dont know anything about them besides the fact that they sell me shit on the cheap and get it to me FAST!!!

I got their email as well. It's a good place. They are local to me. I've been to their store front a few times. As much as I want it, I'm going to get hit with sales tax. That's $41 extra.

So far I like the mount: it puts the optic at exactly the right height for my eyes. It locks in place in such a way that you have to lift up (read: bend) the lever slightly upward and then it will swivel. I'm not sure how much abuse that can take or if it eventually becomes as loosey-goosey as an AK-type throw lever mount (like on the Belarus made AK scope mounts for example).

Mine came with the optic and IIRC didn't add anything to the price, so in my mind it's worth trying out for a while before I replace it with anything else.

I just looked at Brownells and it's showing $565 for the H-1 with LRP.

I got a christmas sale email from Brownell's on the H-1 a couple of days ago. You have to use coupon authorization code at checkout 444999 to receive the H-1 LRP mount combo for 499.99.
