Does anybody know if the parts sold by Palmetto State Armory are of the quality that they claim?
I'm specifically interested in the barrel and bolt carrier group. On their website they claim that their barrels are 4150CMV, same as FN uses, and that their bolts are 158 Carpenter steel, MPI and HP tested, as well as shot-peened.
I ask because I currently await the arrival of a barrel and BCG from them. My dealings in this matter so far have been somewhat less than confidence-building, and I am concerned about their product claims.
If they don't qualify, then I can still send them back before use, provided they get here.
This is my first order, and probably my last, unless something spectacular happens. My only hope now is that at least I got good parts.
