Keep the 9mms, dump the .45

That's what I ended up doing myself.

If you are needing to "free up money", keep the 9mms.

I went to only 9mm for financial reasons as well. However, I also suggest that you evaluate which pistol you shoot the best and take that into consideration as well.

I am all 9mm for budgetary reasons myself.

Kept a 1911 but it mostly plays host to a .22 kit. Haven't had any .45 ammo around in almost half a year now.

Out of the 3 you have listed...I'd keep the G26.

Keep both 9s if possible, the 26 if just one. Should be pretty good option for a practical shooter as well as CC. Other then that you should be able to cut down costs just not running 45s and sticking with 9MMs.

Just as a thought, you could sell the HK and the operator and replace them with a Glock 17, 19 or 34.

That way you would have some parts commonality between your weapons, and training commonality.

In a pinch, you can also use the magazines from the bigger Glocks in your Glock 26.

I bet you could sell the HK and the SA to buy all three other glock 9mm models...that is what I would do but then again I like my Glocks. Which gun can you run the best? That should heavily weigh in on your decision.

If it were me i would sell the glock and keep the other two, if funds allow it.

Keep the Glock, sell the rest.

Keep the USP. It will last forever and you don't have to worry about Glock cheeping out on parts, etc down the road.

Keep the Glock or HK (whichever you prefer) and sell the others. Personally, I would keep the Glock.

Personally I have never been able to part with any of my stock. Come close several times, just too damned sentimental. But to your question I would keep the 9's but if only one the USP

What one would you hate to sell the most?

What one do you shoot the best?

What one is the most reliable?

One one would you be most likely to carry?

I've been doing the same thing off and on for the last year and half, Pared my rifle "collection" (as in rifles I no longer shoot, in a few cases, haven't shot in years) from 27, down to 13..(I've got two, possibly three, to get rid of yet) I've gotten rid of a few pistols as well, most recently, a series 1 Kimber, had'nt shot it in about 3years, don't miss it a bit..Keep what you shoot the best, sell whatever you no longer use/want..I'll have to admit, it was refreshing getting rid of rifles, handguns that I no longer used/wanted..

Sounds smart to me....maybe the question will answer itself!

I have been thinning the herd also and have focused my efforts on the common, affordable calibers as the keepers. I prefer a .45 but I'd rather shoot a 9mm often than not shoot something else?

If you can only keep one, I recommend the USP. It's a good all around pistol. It's accurate, durable and extremely reliable. The Glock 26 to me is a great concealment pistol, but IMO not really good for much else. I like the .45 round, but compared to 9mm, it's a lot more expensive to shoot, so that would eliminate the 1911.

Just a thought..But you could take some of the money from thinning the herd, and look into reloading for.45..That's the only way I can afford to shoot, I'm reloading 9mm.45,.223,30-06. .45 is very easy to reload, with literally hundreds of diffrent loadings to choose from, and they all work well. (sorry for the derail)

Since your state your goals are freeing up money and CCW, my vote is for the Glock 26.

I'd ditch the .45, keep the 9mm's. If your carry needs dictate, maybe drop one 9mm as well and replace with a .380 or J-frame for when you need a little more concealment.

I own several 9mm's and a .45. Though I love the .45 round, it doesn't do anything for me that the 9mm can't, and therefore it gets shot and carried way less.

I would normally not tell someone to sell their only 1911, but sell your 1911.

Out of that lineup, I'd keep the 9c.

If the Glock was a 19, I'd say keep the Glock. But to me a 26 is less appealing than the mid-sized USP. More capacity, reliable, still small enough to conceal.

Of course if you shoot the 26 well and you fail hard with the USP, you may decide differently...but judging solely on the hardware itself, that's what I'd do if I were in your shoes.

Keep the Glock and the Hk if you can,
If not then sell the Hk for like $640.00 and the 1911 for like $640.00 and keep the Glock 26.

but you could get $399.00 for your G26 and get a used like new 3rd Gen Glock 19 from before 2009 for around $399.00

Just feel the G19 is the best all around glock period.

Sell the 1911 and the HK and get another Glock 26.

Sell all of them and pick up a G19. Later down the road pick up one more 19. Nuff said.

Contrary to most, I have 13 45acp pistols and only 2 9mm pistols. I think you know how I would vote.:)

This. However if you're not willing to purchase a new gun and simply want to keep one of what you have, I'd say the USP. I have a 26 and love it but I wouldn't have it as my only pistol. That would be the 19.

This. You do not want to go down to only one pistol.

Given those criteria, I would sell them all.
