Anybody know if the ILS system can be easily user removed from an M&P9? Is it just a matter of taking the ILS parts out of the sear housing block?

I have an extra sear housing block.

Thanks

It can be easily removed. Just pull the SHB out of the gun and the take punch and a hammer and drive the little bastard out. :D

How about removal of the magazine disconnect safety? Is it just a matter of removing parts?

Thanks

Yup. Just drive out pin and pull out the parts. Best of all, your gun won't tell you how dumb you are because it will fire with the magazine removed...

Not if you want to keep the sear release lever working. You need to find a spring that will fit.

Anybody know if the the standard "spring that fits" is available? I've got a friend with a M&P with mag safety and thumb safety that would like to remove the mag safety.
