My Grandfather's Hobby

I visited my parents last weekend and although I didnt have my Rebel with me, I snapped some pics with my phone of my Grandpa Boris's hobby which was building WW2 & Civil War panoramas / models. There are too many to get at one time, he had an entire bedroom filled with hand painted planes, panoramas, vehicles and soldiers.

Just thought I would share as he was integral in my passion for shooting and the attention to detail was astounding. Im certain the iPhone will not do it justice...Merry Christmas!

That was pretty cool. I've always liked gawking at dioramas. I hope to have the patience to make them someday. Thanks for sharing and may you have a Merry Christmas as well..
