Glock 21 question

For anyone knowlegable on this handgun series, what exactly were the changes from Gen 3 to Gen 4?

You could probably find it online, as its documented.

When I took my glock certs (before gen4 came out) they said there are going to be a few things changed. When I got my g3 g21 swapped for a g4 g21 the changes were the back strap system, grip texture, double spring, mag release (which is reversable) and one or two other things I do not recall right now.

If you are looking to pick up a g21 gen 3 or 4 they are good to go, just do not get a g3 g21 with 1913 rail and ambi release, glock has officially said it has issues with the mag release as well as FTF or FTE if you tighten up too hard on the attachment.

Thanks. The reason I asked is that I haven't heard or read of any issues with Gen 4 G-21's as compared with the 9mm Glocks. Wondered if any of the internals had been modified.

Same internals I believe. Only difference (if any) is the reinforced front end.
