I found a place that has lightly used 92G's with night sites and 3 mags for $365. They look to be police trade ins and look really good.

Ive been through sigs/xd's and now I shoot glocks. I see no reason to change. I want to buy some more cheap handguns to keep around the house or the truck and was thinking this would work great. I know the M9 very well so it would be an easy transition.

Anyone see a reaon not to buy it for a beater/trunk/range gun at that price?

Seems like a decent price for a solid gun. Just drop a 92D mainspring in it for a significant improvement in trigger pull.

Arguably the best 92 variant, and much more rare since Beretta sold them to LE departments.

Buy it if you like the 92, especially at that price.

I prefer the G model and was happy with the $350 I paid for a 92F with one mag a few years ago. A 92G for $365 with mags and night sights (even if the night sights are dim) is a good deal.

Screaming deal on one of the best variants of the platform. If you don't mind, where is this deal, and do they have more? I'm always on the lookout for more 92G's.

Sorry for the redundant post. My DROID doesn't always update the thread as it should.

And another vote. If in the market for a Beretta, the 92G is a good choice. Echo the other poster on the D-model mainspring.

Also, even if the night sights are dim, the major cost of upgrading a standard Beretta to have night sights is the cost of drilling the integral sights for the tritium tubes. It's relatively cheap to have the tubes replaced. These are pre-drilled :)

I doubt the few looking at this thread bought them all out from under you. SGB is a nationally known source for great deals on police trade-ins. If they have something you want that's a great deal, snoozing means loosing. :(

Let me get this straight, you're blaming a fellow member of M4C, for your inability to act in a timely manner?

Sometimes it's best to keep your mouth shut and just make a decision OP.

$365.00 isn't much money.

No offense intended, plenty of other opportunities out there. Good luck.

In future, its proably best to buy one first, THEN advertise to a large audience. Sorry for being overly obvious.

No problem. We all have crappy days. I'm waiting to close a $10K deal on a car I'm selling as soon as I replace the struts on it. Today, I get this on my porch:
