Got a sweet holster from STG for my g4 g19 + trl1s. Very comfortable and concealable, offers smooth retention which I like. Covered it in 3M dinoc I had sitting around for added durability.

Dont mean to badmouth your new gear.. Congrats and I hope you enjoy it, it certainly is an interesting concept.. Buuuut it looks like thats all the nice stuff I have to say.

Proprietary and new has never entailed superiority and I see no benefit to a taco design with wings, nor do I see benefits to any rivets- especially poorly flared ones. Just another player in the market I guess.

But nice shots and a very pretty holster, so really congrats.

Holsters do not come one for all types of people. The design is better than I have had before (from big names and big box companies) and it works very well as far as retention and comfort go.

Exactly where I want it to be, too low and it hinders good master grip during presentation.

haters gonna hate bro. for whatever reason these folks don't like taco style holsters. i run a kolbeson taco style ITW for my g19/tlr. i love the hell out of it.

is there a link to stg so we can check them out?

No link that I know of. Might want to check out their website and email them, I do not know if these are for the general public...?

your going to get tired of those metal spring clips too btw. i've NEVER had a good long term experience with them.

They are available to those who know how to find them. I shot with a friend yesterday who was using one for his Glock (although his was not as flashy). Absolutely great holster. I have always been leary of metal clips, but these work.

Maybe, who knows - worst case I will replace them with plastic or something else. This is not a one holster for the rest of my life type of thing. If it lasts 6 months hard use I will be happy then I will get another one.

I put the vinyl on there so that the kydex wouldn't rub against my skin or clothing - I dislike the feeling and does not feel comfortable. The vinyl helps specifically for this. I can understand why this can be seen a flashy, but an IWB holster is anything but flashy...

Not criticizing at all. Not a big fan of the feel of kydex myself. However, it is faster than leather.
