Spike's Tactical Dynacomp Extreme....Holy Crap!!

I was at the range last weekend and as I walked up to the line there were two guys shooting the Loudest AR's I have ever heard. I have Battlecomps on 4 of my AR's and my LMT .308 MWS and sometimes people complain about them being loud. The Spike's Dynacomp Extreme is the most obnoxious comp I ever heard much louder than the Battlecomp.

Anyone else have experience with these?

Yeah I saw one of these a couple of weeks ago at an outdoor range here. Was noticeably louder than my BattleComps, muzzle rise seemed pretty bad too, but I didn't get a chance to shoot it myself. Only observed. I'll stick with the BC's :)

My range is outdoors and these 2 were really loud... I was surprised it was that bad.

Did they have a standard 16" barrel or a shorter barrel? Shorter barrels make more noise in general. Just curious.

1) Barrel length

2) ammo type - M855 seems the loudest to me

3) Are you often standing off to the side of one of your own BC-equipped ARs while someone is shooting it?

4) Any chance they were .308 models?

They were 16" barreled guns and yes I have had friends shoot my 12.5"SBR 16" and .308 MWS with Battle Comps and the Spikes Dynacomps are WAY Louder than all of them.
