anybody using one?I'm thinking about getting one,any input,how are they affected by holsters?

Yep. With a Safariland ALS. No issues really like it.

As a side note - which gun are you wanting to mount the switch on? I found that the DG-18A was a better fit on Caspians then the DG-18.

You are correct and I should have mentioned that in my reply. The 18a is for the Kimber rail guns and others that have a higher undercut and smaller radius at the juncture of the frontstrap/triggerguard. This will make a difference with holster fit and premature wear to the shrink wrap type covering. Also be aware of putting it on guns with checkered front straps. It will eat the backside of the switch. You can put an extra layer of shrink wrap on it or fill the checkering under the switch with something that can easily be removed later, like silicon.

I find the Surefire lights awkward to use without a "DG" tape switch. They are well worth the cost.

well, I had to sand a little on the back of the switch so it would go back far enough to lock in.
