And its accompanying "Trainer", which believe it or not, actually came before the chicken. The Sig 522 started out as a SWAT with a 16" barrel. I found a 20" for sale a year ago, and after installing it, started making changes to the weapon.

First, I added glass (to start, a Bushnell 6-24x40 Banner w/ Mildot ret.)
Second, I added a DDLES AR Buffer Tube adapter. And MOE with a 1/2" riser.
Third, I started deliberately applying "Match" ammo to the weapon, and eventually came to this conclusion through shooting at 100 yards, most recently on the 6th of Jan.

This was shot from prone, without a bipod, using my pack as a rest. I do not shoot with a bipod on this because the handguard does not freefloat the barrel. Loading the shit out of the bipod with this weapon doesn't make life enjoyable. Also, having to break my firing position down to clear FTF's leads to this with the group:

Big difference.
