I purchased a used AR carry handle sight, to cut down for a fixed BUIS to my H1. It arrived pretty damn used & worn. I don't care how it looks, except for one issue. The separate block that actually holds the sight has some play in it. It is 'turned' a bit on the central axis and is under light spring pressure in a counter-clockwise direction. (That make sense?)
Is this a common/normal problem? Is the sight effed, can it be trusted, would it still be consistent?

If I apply pressure pushing the front portion to the right (clockwise), then it trues up a bit:
