Action HD Mini-Camera? Advice/reviews?

I'm looking to pick up a HD capable mini-camera that can mount up to my D.D. rail, M&P Rail, a standard ball cap and helmet mount.

I did a search, but the last thread is over a year old, so I thought I'd start a new one and see what you guys are using these days. Any advice on a model, or the pros/cons of the one you're using would be appreciated.

I plan on using this for range duty on a couple various mounts (rifle, M&P and hat) so ease of use and switchability (yeah, I made that up) is important. The hat mount would also be used for various outdoor/hiking/rock climbing/canoeing shenanigans, so a secure hat/helmet mount is a must. Limited water resistance, as stated it will probably get wet, but no diving or extended water use. Replaceable batteries is a big plus!

I broke 2 Contour HD's. Currently rocking a GoPro Hero2. Lots of aftermarket support and easy to use menu system.

I have a go pro hero, it works vary well. I haven't had mine long but my brother has taken his through 4 tours in Afghanistan, and it has held up quite well. And it produces pretty good video quality.

I've got the Contour HD. I love the thing. The newer versions of the camera have some pretty sexy features. I run one on my ear pro, as well as the rails on my guns. Works very well.

Yeah I looked at the Hero2 Outdoor edition, but I'm having trouble finding a rail mount for it. Anyone know where to get one for the Hero2?

Amazon has them for a lot cheaper. I'm also looking for something current, so I can be one and done. And not worry about getting another one for quite a few years.

The contour picatinny rail mount went on my M&P9FS rail just fine. Looks a bit weird having a big ass camera hanging off the side of the gun, but it fits.

They also make a hat mount(side of the hat, not on the brim) and various mounts for helmets or ear pro or what not.

Yeah I looked at the Hero2 Outdoor edition, but I'm having trouble finding a rail mount for it. Anyone know where to get one for the Hero2?

There are a couple places selling them for ~$30 but I made my own for $5 or so.

Take a shitty walmart scope ring, drill and re-tap the bottom for 10/32 and the camera attachments will screw right in. Works great so far. I've also used some of the included mount to directly attach to my SCAR buttstock.
