Can someone post a pic of a G17 and G19 side by side. Having thoughts of getting rid of my 23 w/357 Sig barrel and getting a 17. Just to keep from having to buy like 3 different calibers. And consolidate to one caliber.

Nyeti - who used to post here - had a pretty interesting 'custom' Glock.

He took a complete -17 and cut the frame down to the size of a -19. It gave him the sight radius & barrel length of the -17, with a more concealable frame. He could & did use both -19 and -17 magazines in it.

There is quite a bit of info over on the 10-8 forums about it, I believe it's referred to as his "universal G17" over there. I'm sure a search will turn it up.

One of these says, I'm going to work up the nerve to do it to my 17. I've committed to the idea, but I'm hesitant to put tool to plastic and get it done.
