Here's some new info on the 1919. I won't say anything about it personally, because apparently on this forum any support for an untested product is considered a full-blown endorsement. Just thought I'd share with the group.

To me it looks more gimicky and tacticool than practical. Not sure why it has to be made to look like an M16 and I'm not a fan of the clamped front sight. I like that's it's a mag-fed semi-auto but it's imported so you're stuck with 5rd mags until someone makes compliance parts. Plus the stock is part of the lower so you can't change it. Looks interesting, heck even promising, but I remain skeptical and I seriously doubt I'll ever get one even if it's a good gun.

Like the Saiga-12, I think where mag-fed shotguns really come into their own is when you start chopping the barrel back because you no longer have to worry about cutting back tube capacity at the same time.

Then again, the only thing I use a shotgun for anymore is 3-gun..........

Have a buddy with one. They shoot really nice. 1.5lbs lighter than the saiga with (to me) less perceived recoil.
