BCGs in different recievers

Anyone swap BCGs in separate recievers?

I have never done this, but it would make sense that a carrier would "seat" in a reciever.

It doesnt seem like a huge deal but wanted to get some input on it.

Its possible, not a huge deal for casual use.

Aside from any possible head space issues, its fine for a range-day bonanza where you play with 10 different uppers that somehow don't have their own BCGs.

But also not the BEST long term plan.

If you have two uppers, only 1 BCG and you want both uppers to be available for serious social use, you should really pick up another BCG and spare bolt as soon as funds allow.

That way, each will be GTG with a backup spare bolt should something break down on either of them.
