I carry my issued gun, a P229R in .357 Sig concealed in either a Galco Concealable or a Milt Sparks VMII. It's not the thinnest or the lightest but with a good belt (I'm using a Wilderness 5-stitch and a Filson Double Belt) and a good holster it is very comfortable.

I generally carry a p226R in a UBG canute holster. It is pretty comfy and hides under just a t-shirt (I have stocky build, I am 5'8" and roughly 180). If you were carrying the compact 220 or a p229 they would be even easier to hide. The biggest thing as stated before is a good holster and a good belt.

I had trouble concealing my 229 ( double stack .40) in warmer weather, but my 239( single stack 9 ) in an Alessi Talon IWB holster is GTG.

I've concealed carried a P229 in .40 S&W using the Milt Sparks VMII. It does really well.

I like the p239 in .40.

I live in Mississippi and have carried a P220 Match in a VM2 during the summer. Anything smaller is a cake walk. Get a good holster and belt and adjust your clothing.

I have a 239 in 9mm, a 239 in 40 S&W and a 245 in 45ACP obviously. I carry one of those every single day and cannot say enough good things about them. Each one is easily concealable. If you choose a 239 you can increase the mag capacity by ordering a "plus one" mag extension kit from Top Gun Supply. It extends the mag about 1/4 of an inch. I've changed all my 239 mags with that kit. My 239-9 is now 9+1 and my 40S&W and 357 SIG are 8+1

I EDC a 229 in 40s&w with a TLR1 light, i use a Rule of Concelment IWB and use Sig 14 round mags loaded with Hornady 180gr TAP FPD. It's a good pistol but i wish i had bought a 9mm or a G19...i just posted a few picks in the Sig photo thread of my 229 in action.
