just found these pics just thought i would get some opinions. I had never heard of them making lowers for Govt unless it was maybe for FBI or DEA.

It was a run done a few years ago for a company called "Legal Transfers". Nothing more than a standard AR lower with some engraving on it. It was never part of a government buy.

Yeah, the guy from Legal Transfers is one of RRA's top dealers, so he gets batches of lowers with govt. roll marks. As others have said, nothing special - unless you ask the guy from Legal Transfers. ;)

I bought one of those back in 2003-2004 before I knew better. It's tucked away in the safe. Maybe I'll put a .22 upper on it someday.

So, what is the deal? You spend more money to get a "US Property" marked gun that ain't US Property so when some small town deputy pulls you over and searches your car you can spend a week in jail awaiting word that your gun ain't stolen? You pay extra for that, right?
