I may get flamed for this *putting on flame suit* but is there a rear ghost ring for the AR? I was looking for something for quick target picture for HD that did not rely on batteries. I know rear buis is the same but was looking more for something like this,

Yeah I had one and upgraded to a Troy. I was looking for something basically just like that picture.

Almost all AR rear sights are peep sights, which are ghosted when you concentrate on the front sight.

Re: batteries, so many dot sights have great battery life, I can't argue for sights that don't use them, since these sights typically use Tritium that are much harder to replace after they get dim.

I have night sights on my handguns, but for rifles and carbines, Aimpoint, EOTech, or my beloved ACOGs :D
