View Full Version : Parabellum Armament AK Adaptive Rail System
Hey guys. Does anyone know anything about Parabellum Armament AK Adaptive Rail System? Is it GTG or crap? Has anyone used it and have a first hand experience? Thanks.
I am running one now to see how it holds up I will keep you posted.

Any pics that you could share with the class?
I got one on my milled arsenal. Its definitely not crap. I only took it out to the range once. Zeroed a t1 on the rail, blasted away for a while, and zero held up fine. By no means a controlled, in depth test, but its definitely not crap. I will keep posted my thoughts as I get more range time as well.

I have run the gun and loaned it out to students in the last months.
It has given me no trouble to date the rd count on it is about 2k.
The gun it is on is 762x39.
Thanks. I think I'm going to pick one up and give it a try.

Thanks for the update.
I read in post that it wouldn't hold zero and what not.
i'm building an ak right now using akbuilders rec and Romanian parts kit
Do you think it's worth the price?

I was just wondering on a update on the akars system. How has this been holding up for some that has them for a while. Any issues with the durability or not staying on zero?
I know these were some of the complaints about this system. I just got my ak built and i'm looking to buy one possibly.

Is there any issues co witnessing the akars rear sight? I've read that the akars rear sight aperture is higher than a standard ak sight.
I have about 2000 rounds through mine on a 5.56 arsenal. No problem with zero of the H1 sitting on top of it. The rail is now on a 7.62x39 ak. The backup sight sucked on the 5.56 because it is setup for a 100 meter zero on a 7.62x39. On the 5.56 AK that required the front sight blade to be level with the sight post ears. No such problem with 7.62x39.
Overall, I like it and am not looking to replace it. I might get another one and try to shave it down for 5.56.

Sorry, forgot. I am able to co witness the H1 for a lower 1/4th-1/5th. Not fantastic but ok.
