Is it bad barrel? What else can cause accuracy issues in a pistol?

The MP9 is known for having sub-par accuracy, something that Bar-Sto is working on, there is a thread on here regarding it. IIRC it has to do with the design of the barrel

The issue I believe has to do not just with the barrel (as many have found, that just replacing the barrel alone doesn't solve anything), but with barrel lockup.

Read through the following thread, especially pay attention to posts by Randy Lee, and posts that discuss barrel lockup issues.

Best/most popular guess at the moment is that the barrel lockup time is too short on affected models.

in other words, the barrel starts tilting too soon.

Dude, there's a thread on the first page of this subforum with "M&P" and "accuracy" in the title.

There's also one, o nthe same page, with "M&P" and "problems" in the title.

Next time, make a token effort at looking around for existing threads before starting your own.
