I'm enjoying building up my collection of US military rifles, but one gaping hole in my collection is that I do not have a true blue M16 equivalent.

Can any of your good people tell me what to buy in order to have a rifle that is as close to the M16 as possible, without being full auto?

I've got an M4orgery so I'm good there, with all the bells and whistles, but I want to kick it old school and get a M16 equivalent.

Thanks.

It's not terribly difficult. A few minutes of internet research would have revealed;

Upper Receiver- http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-M16-Government-20-Upper-Receiver-Group-p/bcm-urg-gov-20.htm

Lower Receiver- Your choice

Receiver Extension- http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/Receiver-Extension-for-M16-Rifle-p/receiver%20extension%20m16%20rifle.htm

Exactly what I want as well... I'd like a A3-4 flat top, but otherwise retro.. I want new stuff as well.. I feel the bravo gvt 20" calling my name.. Ron

I remember now (still half asleep).. I was thinking of a new Colt MT6700. That would work for me..
