I usually like reading the stuff in Danger Room on wired.com, but today's story just pissed me off.
The story itself is OK - mostly about how old all our planes and ships are and how much it costs to maintain them. But the headline reads "Meet Obama's Older, Creakier Military," and directly underneath is a photo of a roomful of older vets - the most prominent of whom is MOH recipient George Sakato.
Not only does the photo have NOTHING to do with the story, its use in this context is idiotic at best and insulting at worst. I commented below the story and encourage all of you to do the same:
