Some people insist that Colt's suck?

I really don't understand it. I have two Colt SP-1's from the 70's that shoot perfectly fine. 1 recent M4 that shoots perfectly fine. The only Colt that ever gave me a little trouble was one that wouldn't feed steel cased ammo, but it was a match grade, so that's an excuse. Some people insist to me that Colt's suck. What are your experiences?

My experience is that this will turn into a Scheisse-fest and we don't need to go there. Colt's reliability and reputation is well known amongst those that have the brain cells to process the information.
