Watching the first 10 minutes of Top Guns on H2 it appears that the show doesn't suck. Some of you guys really like Top Shot, the host is the same dude. This show has none of the reality TV soap opera bullshit that I don't like about that show. They introduced 3 rifles are are apparently just going to profile, shoot, and compare them. First segment was on the M1 Carbine.

Looks decent so far. Gun porn without outright nonsense.

Was a decent show, I would like to see more history regarding the weapons featured, but not sure if they could fit all of that into a 1 hour episode featuring three guns.

I just can't watch reality TV regardless of the fact that they shoot. It's still all a bunch of horseshit.

Lock N' Load and Mail Call, both with Lee Ermy, were both good gun shows. Tales of the Gun was a good gun show. Tactical Impact was an excellent gun show, especially when discussing tactics. American Shooter with Jim Scoutten was one of the best basic shows about guns. And that's about it.

American Rifleman is basically a commercial for guns with heavy bias, like the magazine you will never see a bad review of a weapon. Weaponology, Triggers and all the other documentary shows suffer from annoying experts who will present opinion as fact.

Sons of Guns, American Guns and all the other gun shop "reality TV" are just more of the same old crap that makes gun people look like idiots or assholes. Reality TV with ridiculous concept shooting contests just makes it worse. I'd much rather they televise IDPA or some similar shooting competition without the drama and contrivances.

I don't get and will not pay extra for the "premium" H2 channel from my cable provider.

I really have not interest in watching a show that is hosted by a host of a reality show. I watch Top Shot for the fact that they have shooters from all walks of life and skill level on the various courses. It doens't hurt that they feature guns like the Barrett or LaRue's OBR. I could give a shit about the "reality" vag fest.

Triggers is not too bad, it airs on the Military Channel.

I'll take TacTV, but I do wish LAV would spend more time with modern weapons and maybe devote more shows to training tips (for those of us unlucky enough to live too far away to really ever attend one of his classes). :D

This would be great.

All gun shows are good if they help make the public perception of guns more positive. Quite frankly I can't believe the amount of gun shows on major networks. Could you have imagined this in 1992?

IMHO, the more shows the better. More people will buys guns and that equates to more possible progun voters.

I think there may be 10 gun shows on right now.
