i know you zero the top dot for 50 and 200 yards, and the bottom is for 500 yards but where should you hold over for say 25 or 100? anyone have a chart?

With a 50/200ish zero you will be hitting about 1.3 inches low at 25 yards, about 2 inches high at 100.

The problem with making a chart is that there are so many variables at play that there isn't really a universal answer.
There are ballparks, like I put up, but the best thing to figure it out is to get a true muzzle velocity with your rig and ammo and punch it into a good ballistics calculator.

ETA: F2S beat me to answering your question, but also keep in mind:

You can do it however you want. The second dot is 2.8 MILS and 9.7 MOA below the first dot. The bottom of the ring is 9.4 MILS or 32.5 MOA down.

You can use whatever zeroing scheme you want.

With a 100 yard zero and 55GR XM193 type ammo you're looking at the second dot being good at about 475 yards. Dead in the middle of the two dots will be good at 350 or so.

If you were to zero at 50 the second dot would be POA/POI at around 510 yards. In between them would be 395.

With the 100 yard zero there are no holdunders. All points of impact from 0-200 yards or so will be no more than 2.6 inches below point of aim.

With a 50 yard zero POI will be below POA out to 50 yards and then gently rise over it no more than a few inches, crossing again somewhere around 200 but not exactly.

Regardless of which scheme you choose, unless you're shooting at a really small target, you can aim dead on until you start getting into extended ranges. One common trick with the EOTECH reticle is to use the bottom of the circle for close range shots... ~ 7 Yards.

I almost always shoot 62gr 855. Does this look about right? From what I have read this is what I have come up with. Im not looking for pin point accuracy, just good enough for gophers within 100 yards.
