Bayonet Lug Light Mount

Hi guys. I did a search and didnt find what I was looking for so thought I'd ask here. I'm looking for a bayonet lug mount to attach a Streamlight TLR-1 to my Colt 6920. I'm a minimalist kinda guy and don't like to hang a bunch of stuff off my rifles, I like to keep things as lightweight & compact as possible. But it has to be something rugged enough to last. NOW...... I don't like/recommend any of these products. I'm just trying to answer your question before I throw adivce at you.

Some of the railed handguards are very lightweight and offer much better mounting solutions. If price is a concern, the MOE (also very lightweight) is an excellent option as well. Do some more research. There's a reason we've moved away from these mounting solutions a long time ago.

I do applaud your recognition that a light is a must have on even the most basic carbine. Just look more closely at how you mount it and where. Good luck.

Ooh. Forgot about those. One of the only "non-standard" mounting solutions I'd look at. Although I have no experience with them, I'm hearing good things about them little by little.

You won't want a light under the barrel. From that position, the light casts the shadow of the barrel onto the target.

Mount it to the side or above the barrel.

I put a Mossie mount on one of my rifles recently, it is very solid, and stupid simple. Two ingredients to a durable and effective solution.
