This is the only place I could find to post this; I hope you guys don't close the thread since it's not technically a firearm (or a rifle, for that matter). However, it is a bolt-action single-shot gun, and from everything I've read about it, it's a real tack driver. I'm planning on buying the Crosman 1322 this Monday. It's a multi-pump pneumatic air pistol chambered for the .22 pellet. I'll tell you all how it handles if anyone's interested by Monday evening.

Anyone fired it before? Or its .177 cousin, the 1377? Thanks.

I've been shooting the .177 version of that pistol pattern for over 2 decades (It was my first "gun"). Pump it up properly (in my experience 6-8 pumps) and it is, indeed, stupid accurate. It's also handy for shooting squirrels who have infested your basement (ask me how I know :p). Mine can shoot bbs aswell, which are fun, considerably easier to load due to a magnetic "breach" tip, and cheap, but not as accurate as pellets, especially at distances in excess of 10 yards or so.

All this of course assumes Crosman still builds them to the same general level of quality. I wouldn't know, I haven't bought an Airgun in over a decade, and the last one I did was one of those CO2 canister revolver numbers. Fun gun to be sure, but wasn't in the same league accuracy-wise of the single-shot pump, I sold it to a friend of mine who was entering the police academy and wanted to get a head start on building her shooting skills.
