I am having a very hard time convincing myself that I don't need a spare gen 2 G19. Or two.
Oh boy...
Thanks for the heads up, too bad I done picked up two gen.3's a month or so back.

I'm eyeballing the gen 2 Glock 22 for $340.
Now to convince the little lady how viable the "1 is none 2 is one" mantra!
Considering my gen 4 g19 is hiccuping, this might have to do until I can get the local gun shop to get the right ejector for me.
Thanks for the headsup.
CDNN is selling Gen 2 G22s for $339 right now, and Gen 3 G22s for $369. I've never owned a Glock but for that price Im really thinking I should just order one. I figure if I really dont like it I could probably sell it and break even (if not make a profit).
I dont know much about Glocks, are Gen 2's or Gen 3's most sought after?

The gen 3's are the most sought after.

Missed out too, but I'm on their notify list when and if ever they get some more back in stock.
The non-FG/R "gen 2" Glocks are highly sought after, esp the G19s.
A batch of transitional frames can cause near riots if you gather folks who know what to look for and appreciate them.

Got me one yesterday around lunchtime. I'm pretty sure it will fix my Gen4 G19 problems :D
Well that sold out fast.

So, some of the Gen2 19s have the older extractor angle and some don't?

Yep. When I talked to Steven at aimsurplus, he was extraordinarily pleasant and kind but completely unable to answer any questions about the internals of the pistols or serial #'s. So, I have no idea if they have already received the upgrade kits or not or what ejection ports they have. We will have to wait and see what the specifics are when we get them
Ugggh, i cannot believe i missed out on this. Crap!

I bought my Gen2 G19 new in '96-'97 sometime. Its serial number is CCAxxx dating to Nov'96 and has the 15 degree extractor, not the 90 degree one. I think the change was somewhere around '95-'96 but can't verify. Gen2s were made till sometime around '98 when the Gen3s came out.
Shit. I really need a new set of tires for my F250 but at that price I might have to just hope the cracked sidewall holds for a couple more months. This will be moot if they don't get any more in stock. And I just made a new FFL friend too.

Hoping the same for me too if they ever get anymore in.

I've got two with the 15 degree cut,and one with the 90 degree.
Havn't had any problems with the older 90,it's usually shot more than the others.
