Handguards

I am looking at getting a new rifle. I want handguards that don't have rails and freefloat the barrel. I am looking for anyone with actual hands on advice. If not anything anyone has heard of. I have heard of PRI but don't know anything else. thanks for your time

You can use a steel freefloat tube similar to what HP shooters use. These will fit within std HGs. WOP can make these for you, in either carbine-length or mid-length. A ML steel tube, w/barrel nut and end cap welded on weighs 17.5 oz. If that is too heavy they can mill some lightening cuts/holes in them to remove a few oz.
