I can remember that happening.
That move, and others by Colt, are why the claim is at least plausible. It wasn't like someone claiming BCM to halt private sales and give great deals to LE in ban states.

I guess I got lucky? 2 days ago, after much looking, I found a hard-to-find AR6951 online and bought it right then. Paid $1099, list price, and wasn't too happy about that.
