Kevlar is abrasive & can be used for cutting carbon fiber or various other synthetics, it basically abrades itself & anything weaker that it is sewn to .
Also Pure kevlar will lose 49% of it's strength in the Florida sun. Reference "the Parachute Manual A Technical Treatise on Aerodynamic Decelerators" by Dan Poynter, who many in the Skydiving industry consider to be the MAN regarding questions such as this.
Spectra is incredibly slick and hard to work with, Pure spectra slings & cords are rarely used in climbing as the material doesn't hold knots well, it has an annoying habit of untying itself.
For the applications presented in this thread either is way overkill & an unnecessary expense.
Of course it's your money either way.
