Oh my...
Please excuse the tardiness of my reply to your thoughtful post. I was preoccupied last evening listening to Trump's magnanimous address, Ramaswamy's endorsement of Trump, and DeSantis's awkward attempt at celebrating getting his Iowa 'ticket punched'.
Rubio's endorsement was more about him wanting to jump aboard a winner. Of course it had no influence on last night's historic 30-point curb stomp. However, despite what DeSantis says, an endorsement from Rubio is something he would want if managing to continue in the primary through to Florida. Rubio and DeSantis share the same voter base. Hardly someone DeSantis wanted to see endorse an opponent. For Trump it isn't significant other than a piling-on of his already massive polling lead over DeSantis in Florida. In the general election, I don't see any downside for Trump getting early endorsements from both US Senators in Florida.
Go look for Tuckers take on nikki...ick.
Haley is the Establishment's chosen-one so she'll stay all the way to the Convention... where I predict she'll make a bitter floor fight and decline to endorse. DeSantis has longterm potential, well HAD until this senseless schism in conservatism threw him into a meatgrinder. Dude's bringing Disney to heel and done almost everything he promised in FL, unfortunately Promises Made and Kept aren't what the big-money donors want.
What a waste... and it'll all be futile anyway because 2024's cheats will make 2020 look honest.
Like this gem in the WA Legislature, HB2150, which basically says the state only Regime Approved candidates will be allowed to have their votes counted or even cast:
https://lawfilesext.leg.wa.gov/bienn...20240112110349
Stingers:
1. SoS can unilaterally declare a candidate Unqual on own say-so.
But wait, even if SoS gives the greenlight the Legislature can overrule that and Unperson you anyway!Quote:
The secretary of state is required to determine that each
5 candidate meets the qualifications for office. If a candidate is
6 ineligible for that office, the secretary of state shall issue an
7 order stating that the person is disqualified from that office.
..
The person's name shall not
20 appear on the ballot for that position; or if ballots have already
21 been printed for distribution to voters, the number of votes that
person receives shall not be published and may not be disclosed for
any reason.
Trifecta, you have five days to appeal in a court selected because it's the center of the Regime and already decided against you:Quote:
(3) If the secretary of state determines that the candidate is
5 not disqualified, the legislature may override that determination by
6 adopting a resolution with a two-thirds majority vote in each the
7 house of representatives and the senate stating that the candidate is
8 disqualified from the office they are seeking.
"Democracy is too important to be left to the will of the people!"Quote:
(1) A person who is determined to be
13 ineligible to be a candidate for office under this chapter may file
14 an appeal in the superior court of Thurston county within five
15 business days
So it's looking like I'm hoping DeSantis somehow pulls this out...reluctantly.
Haley now says she will no longer participate in a debate unless Trump is on stage. I wonder who she thinks cares? Surely DeSantis must be tired of playing 'you're a liar, no you're a liar' with her. Debating Haley certainly didn't help him in Iowa. Trump has no need to debate "bird brain' on anything. yawn...
I am voting in November to MAGA in 2024 !!! Desantis would be my distant second choice if the deep state would decide to off Trump, and I don't trust the bought and paid for deceiving bitch named Niki.
LOL!!!
The Iowa Republican caucuses were a low-turnout affair, drawing just over 108,000 voters, or about 14.4% of the state’s approximately 752,000 registered Republicans

Landslide my ass...
Half of the republicans that voted don’t want trump...
