Right behind the take down pin. Saw this picture somewhere else on the web showing where the gimmicky AW sits. That's where I put the foam ear plugs.

That's not my picture but a borrowed one from off the information super highway, it's showing a single Accu Wedge. That's the same spot I put the foam ear plugs. . .Just to give an example, that's all. :)
I use one in my match AR and all I needed to do was trim a bit off of the bottom to get it to close, it’s good and snug now. No rattling while in off hand anymore
i wouldn't put that or earplugs or anything foreign in a lower receiver. Thats just adding something that could possibly cause a malfunction at a wrong time. Slop between the receivers won't affect anything. Most older rifles that are actually used will develope some play between the upper and lower. i wouldn't worry about it.
Shitcan that crap, its unnecessary!
I use an accuwedge on my LWRC. I just shaved off (a lot) excess from the bottom until the upper and lower fit snug. Works great.
I have used one as well for over 10,000 rounds with no problems. It can't "Float Around" in the lower due to the design, and it doesn't disintegrate. You need to trim the top for a perfect fit, but once you do it will take all the play out of the upper/ lower fit.
