The Fortis LA Stock does have a carbon fiber cheek rest.

I have a AR pistol that uses a A5 pistol RE and a Tailhook brace. I hated the feel of the aluminum on my face so much I bought some crazy thick heatshrink tubing on McMaster Carr.
