Bartocci is welcome to his opinion, but he’s said some things about Colt that don’t exactly hold water.
I have a feeling by Summer 2020 or sooner that this will be a total non-issue.
Colt’s VP of Commercial Business also told American Rifleman that this does not affect the retro line and they have no plans to discontinue those guns.
That article was much less alarmist and the author seems to actually have a relationship with the leadership at Colt.
Fly...NOT calling you out, at all..genuinely curious as to what he said that wrong.
My two cents: I dont care if its settled tomorrow, summer of 2020, or never- Colt can drop off the Earth for my part & Ill never miss them.
They are the POSTER CHILD for bad decisions & sell outs. Screw them, their shitty guns & the shitty union that makes them.
What makes their guns shitty? If you’re making statements, back them up with fact.

Look, brah. Ive owned Colts probably since before you were born. Even if that isnt the case, Ive owned them a long long time, several decades.
Theyve made some SHIT guns that I personally have shot & have first hand knowledge of.
Know what? I dont need to answer you, justify or explain jack shit to you or anyone else. I HOPE they go out of business. Could NOT care less if you dont agree.
And I hope the rest of the industry takes notice that f-in over the civilian market aint exactly a smart idea.
