I'm trying to expand beyond my iPhone, and have been out playing with a new m43 mirrorless camera while out and about on walks or in town.

My life is (thankfully) very...not urban, so a fixed blade with a scandi grind fits the bill for daily carry.

I have a couple of blades... My personal fav is my Green Beret followed closely by the Bawidamann Gunnr (silver one in the middle), but my EDC knife is the Benchmade AFO-II at the bottom. I use so much I bought a second AFO-II, so I'd always have one with my work clothes.

My grandfather was a WW2 veteran and a Pearl Harbor survivor, he was two ships behind the Arizona when Pearl Harbor was attacked. When my grandfather passed away, he left me his tool box. Inside were a bunch of files that I thought I'd never have a use for. After seeing a lot of knives being made out of old files I decided to find a blade smith that could make knives out of the old files. I found a guy on Instagram that makes knives. He's a retired MSG from 5th SF group, after talking to him and looking over the pictures of the work that he's done, I decided he was my guy. I'm having four knives made, one for my dad, brother, nephew and me. Here are a couple pictures of the finished work so far. Attachment 45479

If you have an IG account go check out his work @kimbreed1911.
