My contribution for the MK1

What's the deal with the keymod Geissele rails? I remember seeing something about the MK4's coming with keymod slots. Will we still be able to get MK4's without the keymod slots?
We get it that you hate KeyMod, but seriously? There are picatinny rail sections available to mount wherever you want and then mount whatever you want on them. There are keymod light mounts available as well as other accessories for keymod.
The way I look at it is that KeyMod offers the user the slimmest/slickest possible handguard with the easiest method of mounting rail sections where you need them. No need to screw around with the annoying threaded backers to attach a pic rail section like on the Troy Alpha/BattleRail. KeyMod sections snap right on and tighten down with minimal frustration.
I got my hands on a MK1 yesterday. I very much liked the feel of it...I imagine it feels like a Larue rail would feel if the picatinny were shaved off. The thing that didn't impress me was the set screws which tighten down onto the upper receiver to prevent/eliminate slop.
I keep checking Noveske every day and don't see those keymod rail sections in stock.
At least Geissele gives them to you.
So if I were to buy into the keymod nonsense, I'd have to replace all my lights/mounts?... OR try to find keymod rail sections someplace.
Why ****ing bother. It makes NO SENSE. Give me standard rails and cut all the horse shit.... that's my opinion. :p
