Great pics! I am not waiting any longer. I am getting a can for my SR-25 and my Mark-23. Hopefully I will have them by SHOT next year :(

Link to Geissele Automatics
Geissele is famous for their extremely well crafted combat and match triggers. the quality is unsurpassed by any measure. two year ago Geissele was tasked by CAG to develop a rail system for their in service HK 416s, and the birth of the Geissele super rail along with its sibling the Super rail for DI gas AR arrived at SHOT 2012. It was one of the coolest looking rail to come along in quite awhile, and it was featured as the OEM rail on the Haley Strategic Jack Carbine.

This year Geissele too that rail one step further and release to the public their revised Mk-IV version, which is more refined, lighter and more modular then the last year design.

Few points of interest...
1. the enlarged cooling slots are to reduce weight while not giving up any rigidity
2. the new collar for the lock bolts are design to be foolproof, so if you happen to strip the threads on the locking collar, you can always ha ve it replaced instead of having to replace the entire rail.
3. the light weight barrel nut has been through a patented anodizing process that is only used in high friction automotive components, this process enable Geissele to produce a lighter and more durable end product.
4. Build in sling QD swivel points
5. Relief cuts all around the rail to lighten even more weight.
6. the rail to receiver interface are redesigned to maintain the rigid interface but at the same time reduce more weight.
Overall, this is one of the BEST rail design i have seen in a long time, it is definitely worth your investment for your next carbine build.

The light weight profile cut was done by Geissele, but don't run off just yet to contact Geissele on this barrel, they are not in the barrel business....yet!

To fit it over your current MR or 416s, you will have to cut off the useless sling loop in the gas block.

Does the gas block have 2 set screws at the bottom and a pin that goes through a existing slot for a FSB?
That T-1 Glock mount looks awesome. Should eliminate the issue of tracking the dot.
The amount of engineering that went into the Glock optic/light chassis was stunning. What's noteworthy of that design is that the incredible G forces that are placed in an optic mounted directly on a pistol slide are almost non-existent, since it's on the frame.
Their gas block also looks great.
SR-47....
Where do I send the monies?!
