A little background: my dad started developing symptoms of what eventually killed him (CIDP, which is a disease "brother" to Guillain-Barre) about two weeks after taking a flu shot. While no genetic link has been proven to susceptibility, neither has it been disproven. So after seeing that whole shit-show play out I'll take my chances on going without a flu shot.
A COVID vaccine? My gut says to hold off as long as possible and watch the guinea pigs to see what happens. If it seems GTG I'd probably get one. The mRNA one which re-programs your immune system? Nah, not that one.
Also, another question comes to mind: will those who have had COVID be required/coerced/encouraged to get one? If they are then I would have my doubts about the efficacy, at least for any length of time.
