It sucks how .327 got abandoned by both the shooting public and the manufacturers. I’m not surprised….revolvers are largely the territory of the traditionalist that is unlikely to see anything less than .357” diameter as anything but a small game gun, and people that are accepting of new, smaller bore cartridges are also accepting of plastic autoloaders that already hold more than 5. Still, I’d love to have one or two, especially the factory ported Smiff, I think 632 Carry Comp, and maybe the plainer J-frame or a LCR. Maybe even a GP100 or longer SP101 to round things out.
You mentioned stuck cases….are they splitting, too? I was shooting a friend’s Ruger .327 with American Eagle ammo, IIRC, and every single case split, so they weren’t sticking, but not falling out on a casual, half-assed ejector push, either. Seemed odd, considering that Ruger and Federal should really have that cartridge figured out, given that they are the defacto standard combo for that cartridge.
