Wow, I ordered two at 2:31pm and just came here to spread the word to find they're already out.
Two guys on TOS are advertising that they have 10 each and asking upwards of $700...
I just happened to be browsing as part of my daily routine and saw them. I bought 2 and decided to tell some others. Sorry you did not get one. I missed the last lot that went to Rainier Arms.
Just put a NSR rail on my 6920 upper and it transformed a rather chunky upper into a sleek handling unit. The NSR is far and away the best rail I have touched, and I have a bunch of different ones!
I'm low speed and high drag, but I did order a Geissele MKI and MKII, as well as two of the Noveske NSRs. I want to try them on some builds to see which I prefer. I'm not sure about the keymod...
Where did you find a Geissele ? I have been crawling all over the the net for any keymod rail, with Noveske being first choice. Midway was the only place that I saw anything. After I ordered, I immediately went to 4 more sites to see if anything had come in and nothing.
I also ordered a mams yesterday and almost ordered the new kac urx4 rail, but they did not know when they were going to release any. The diameter of the kac looks like it may be larger. My hands are not that big with long fingers so Noveske looked better. Let me know how they pair against one another.
I'm just leary about a new feature when there's an established standard, in this case the 1913 rail. As an early adopter, you always have to wonder if everyone else will make the investment in design and tooling to catch up and how long it may take to get the accessories you need. Having an orphan device is no fun and having a proprietary device is expensive. I'm not saying this will be the case with Noveske, but I really have to get one in my hands to see if the form, fit and function work for me. If not, they'll be on the EE.
