So,
Let me preface this with the fact that I wish were were flush with OCO money and industry was still like a coked out hooker willing to do anything for a buck. (Translation: “I don’t have a formal requirement but it would be cool if”)
That being said, because we are leading to more M-LOK centric systems, why no cable management? At a minimum, something that had routing at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock.
If nothing is to be found seems like a gap in the market has been found. Had I a 3D printer....

Sounds like a perfect niche market for Magpul to take stronghold of. I can't imagine it to be too difficult to make a channel for routing cables in their Type 2 MLOK covers.Quote:

ETA: in terms of direct cable management, for MLOK, similar to the Manta system, I’m at a loss as to anything available.

You could replicate MLOK spacings using some kydex as a panel and make a small notch on each end of the hardware holes. This would theoretically allow you to route your cable underneath this kydex panel.
MLOK hardware and a sheet of kydex is cheap on eBay.

It would be legit if someone would make MLOK rail panels similar to larues index clips. I use them on everything to retain wires.
Ergo makes ladder rail covers with some wire management. I am partial to zip ties myself. Cheap, easy to source, and can be used in multiple locations on a rail without modification.Quote:

Thanks for posting this up. Just this weekend I was putting a new flashlight on a MI MLOK handguard.... My wire routing combined some old Magpul clips and zip ties. This would have down the same, just at 90% less ghetto.Quote:

Since I don't run exotic devices on my guns, I'm still averse to running wires. I was notionalizing a 12 o'clock, front of FSB light set up with a pressure switch, but I'm lazy about figuring out what systems and parts to buy.
I haven’t gotten around to finishing that project myself but a Modlite PDW350 seems like a good place to start.Quote:
