http://img.tapatalk.com/ae136d15-65d8-bf0a.jpg Ruger 10/22 an old bushie(first ar I bought) and a noveske-pws hybrid... I have a cmmg conversion so the ARs count as rimfires right?
10-22 VLEH with Volquartsen trigger group and a Nikon 3-9x40 BDC. Mostly porcupines and squirrels.

And I just recently picked up this Henry Golden Boy in .17HMR. I just added the larger loop lever and scoped it. This one I plan to use on muskrats. I'm anticipating that the .17HMR won't ricochet and the folks across the lake won't have to worry as much.

And I have a good ol' Browning SA-22 around here somewhere too. That's been a great woods rifle for me for many years, but that Ruger is astonishingly more accurate.

The Mountie is without question my favorite...

Here the Mountie is flanked with a couple of wood stocked, fun little toys.
On left is my custom AAA Claro walnut stocked 10-22. The 10-22 has a lightweight fluted stainless green mountain custom barrel. Topped with a 2x7 Leupold variable.
Far right is a fully restored Remington single shot built (I think in the 1920s)

This is my GSG -522 with RDS (on the right next to my AR). Fun little gun.
CZ 452 American w/ Weaver V16. Threaded for Gemtech can. Awesome gun. Built for full sized adult men, unlike many .22 rifles.

Marlin model 25. Chopped to 16.5"s and threaded for can. A2 flash suppresor is used for thread protector. This one is topped with a fixed K 2.5x Weaver. It is a brick simple little lightweight plinker, game getter.
Have a piece of M1913 rail on the side for attaching a pistol light for night time jackrabbits that devour haystacks.

Crappy pic of my el cheapo Savage MKII F. Removed the rear sight and filled the dove tail, cut the barrel down to 16.5, painted barrel black. Re-enforced the fore end of the stock with aluminum, filled the buttstock with foam, cheek rest, OD green paint.
It wears a cheap centerpoint scope. All i need is a bipod, thread job, and can. She likes Wolf MT btw..
Savage MKII, chopped to 16" and threaded.

It works.

What can? Silencerco?
Just picked this up today. Went looking for a cheap .22 LR rifle but I found this instead, Savage .17 HMR - couldnt be happier! Took about 25 shots to get the scope sighted in real nice...

Ruger 10/22. Wood stock painted black. Rail section mounted on the bottom of the stock for the bipod and/or a flashlight if needed. Cheap Centerpoint lighted reticle 3-9x scope. Great rifle, if I can see it, I can hit it.

An "Old Friend" brought back to life. I pulled my dusty 597 out of the safe the other day and dressed her up a bit. I forgot how accurate this gun is.

I am really liking the 1907 on my CZ.

The only reason the 98k is there is because I felt one central European rifle would complement the other. I'm happy with the way these pics turned out.

Waiting on Skinner peep sights. I have a particular aversion to leaf sights. I got the Skinner sights for $55 for my Big Boy and it's like a completely different rifle with them.

Ruger 10/22 Take Down
I saw this new model on Lightfighter a couple weeks ago, and knew I'd have to jump on it.
http://www.ruger.com/products/1022Ta...odels.html?r=y
I ordered it early last week and picked it up Wednesday morning after work. *I took it apart to see how the barrel lock works, and then spent a couple hours at the range slaying rows of steel plates. *Other than the quick-change barrel, it’s the 10/22 we’re all familiar with, and it ran like a Swiss watch. The trigger groups are plastic now, by the way. I don't know how long Ruger has been doing that. The last 10/22 I bought new was in '97.
I didn’t like the forend and barrel band, so I removed it and reshaped the forend to eliminate the flat spot the barrel band sits in...
Next, I cut the 18 1/2 barrel down to 16 1/4 inches and threaded it on my lathe 1/2” - 28 tpi for silencers. *I’m using a red-dot sight exclusively with this gun, so I’ll never miss the front sight.

And mine...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...IMGP3492-1.jpg
Cheapo TruGlo sight. But it holds a zero a 50 yards, so I'm happy. I spent most of the day today reshaping the Ruger forend to match the Butler Creek folding stock. *Both stocks are black plastic and can be shaped fairly easily using a belt sander held in a vise. *Then lots of finish sanding by hand, and a light mist of rattle-can flat black on both to match the colors.
Here's the beauty of my rig...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...IMGP3494-1.jpg
Damned near fits in a shoebox.
I think I’ll register the receiver so I can get a spare barrel and cut it down to 6 inches, threading it as well.

It's such a terrible picture, but it's a Remington 597 VTR.
Easily the cheapest rifle I've ever had, and easily the most fun for the $$$. I threw a (4-10x?) Simmons scope on it and the thing will nail silver dollars at 100 yards over and over and over.
Not real silver dollars...

Picked up this nice bolt action tubular magazine fed Marlin XT-22. It had a cheap scope on it, but I took that off. Already have a squirrel kill racked up with it in the first day or two of owning it.
