1. Minimalistic
2. Lightweight
3. Folds up nicely for weapon storage
4. Extremely wide range of adjustment
5. It's cheap and ready to use without additional connections out of the box
No frills, adaptable to any weapon system as-is and low-cost is what a sling should be. Unless you're humping a SAW all day.
If you're looking for minimalist, it fits the bill. I ran one for a while, but prefer a wider sling for comfort. I may add some QD swivels and give it another go. For the price, give it a shot.
I have one as well and agree what is already stated. IMO it sucks on heavier carbine set ups. In those instances I prefer a padded sling (Vickers).
Looking for simple basic upgrades for my 6720, that won't break the bank. Hoping this will fit the bill! Got a good deal on a Sparc AR, and 8 N.O.S Okay mags that were made about 10 years ago so far.
I have one and will be ordering another. They are my new favorite sling. It has a longer adjustment range than my current sling without the annoying end of the sling swinging around
Been running them exclusively for the past several years with front and rear QD swivels. I've run VTAC, Vickers, SOB, and the Proctor is my favorite.
I have three of them now. Added QD sockets to both ends the the sling is perfect in my opinion.
I've used the VCAS for years and years, without any real complaints. The Proctor Sling has replaced all of mine and I am very happy with the upgrade.

They're an awesome durable minimalist sling. I have a few of them setup on different ARs and I prefer them on lighter weight guns. I also have one on the rifle I always have with me in my car as it folds up out of the way easily.
I have one on my M&P 15-22 really like it for that task.

I have three of them currently and they are my favorite. I like that they don't require any additional mounting hardware.

I've gone through my fair share of slings, the Proctor is easily my favorite.
I dig the Proctor, and also dig the Sheriff of Baghdad sling.
Anybody have pics of a stock AR carbine with the Proctor paracord mounted up front?
I have a factory front handguard/fsb. Just wondering the best way to attach it?
You can just loop it through the sling swivel. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...32f89d677a.jpg
Not my picture.
I like them. I can't tell a huge difference between VTAC and Vickers/BFG, but I really like the Proctor.
I run the proctor sling on several rifles and it is a great setup. I like the simplicity of it and how easy it is to run.
You should be able to replace the paracord with a lenght of cord that better suits your needs.

I have 6. Stupid simple, easily adjustable, stays where you put it.
OP, the WOTG/Proctor sling is excellent, especially for a minimalist sling. The only issue you might have with it, is if you plan on hanging a heavy carbine off of you for an extended period.
If you want a wider sling, I would suggest the Magpul MS-1.
Pretty much repeating all of the good. I use it on a variety of platforms, bolt, shotgun, AR carbine and pistol. Either QD swivels or the Talons for the bolt/shotgun. I like the half round QD swivels from BCM.
I have seen this sling before on Frank Proctor's website and have wondered if it would be a good replacement for an older Magpul sling that I have. Does this have a bigger adjustment range than the MS3? I think that's the one I have right now. Currently I only really use my Magpul sling either around my neck or slung behind with one arm inside the main loop to get it to rest more securely. It's a bit of an awkward contraption and setup, at least for me.
it's a good sling, I do like my VTAC better but for my lightweight rifle the proctor sling is great.
Bumping an old thread cuz I just seent this sling in the latest BravoCompany email. Looks like a sling after my own heart.. as an IDF sling fanatic.
Proctors are good kit.
I wish I'd have seen this sling sooner, but I'm used to tuning stuff out since there's so much gimmicky nonsense trying to be the next best thing.
I have three of these slings and have used them for quite some time. I love the simplicity, quality, and the wide range of adjustment. What really sold me on the design is the ability to store the sling on the side of the rifle.
For the folks that have had an issue with the longer end loops I've found that making an extra wrap around the barrel or stock takes care of the problem for me.

I use them without the paracord loops, I thread through the front side sling adapter, and qd the rear. I could not get happy with the front paracord loop on the short carbine quad rails that I use. I've seen them work perfectly on longer middys with m lok rails. That's what Frank Procter uses them on.
Google Obi Wan Nairobi and watch Christian Chaighead clear the Nairobi hotel with one on his gun. The Brits are badass!
