Any plans for any courses in Maryland or Northern VA this year?
+1....second on a course in VA....
Very interested in either Carbine or Handgun classes.
Maryland or Virginia would be nice....
I'm in..
Me too!
Where could it be hosted? I think we should square something away that way we have something we could present to whoever we have to talk to get this thing rolling..
I could be interested.
Myself and three of my co-workers would sign up for a pistol course with them.
According to the website, a minimum of 18seats are required to be filled. What class would you guys be more interested in? I would really like a handgun course but wouldn't mind a carbine course either...
We should get a realistic list of people serious about a course, figure out a range, and a date. Thurmont is a suggestion, anyone else have places where we could host this? 50yd minimum is required for the carbine course.
Date wise, I have to do it between April and October. Winter is a no go for me due to work.
I would prefer handgun, however I'm in for which ever one we can arrange. If we can arrange a one day handgun and one day carbine that would be optimal.
I don't want to pay a $100 a day range fee, but I understand that some range fee may be required.
This Guy!!! Northern VA or MD either would work for me!
I'd be interested in a weekend pistol class. Took their carbine 2 class last summer somewhere in northern Virginia, which I would definitely take again, but my focus is pistol stuff.
I'm in.

Carbine would be my preference but I would take a pistol class. I know of at least one other person who would would take a class. I would attend anything hosted within 2 hours of the Washinton, DC area.
Im in for a Handgun course!
In for pistol. Did Carbine in NOVA last summer and it was great. I dont think there will be an issue filling slots
I would be interested in handgun. Thurmount would be a good venue for handgun but not carbine, the action bays are only 25 yards deep.
There have not been many Magpul classes in the Northeast so any or a combination of classes would have a good turnout. I would be in for a carbine II and a handgun class.
Looks like there is no problem filling the class :D
Now how to get it set up.
Count me in as well. Missed out last year - dont want to do that again.
I'd be interested more in a carbine course, but a handgun course would be cool as well.

If we narrow this down to a 2day Pistol class. Maybe at the end of August or October who is seriously interested ?
Yes still interested. How are you going to make this happen? Tell Magpul we have a guranteed x number of students and a facility can you come and teach a class?
I'm in as long as the dates work
Still interested...

We need to find a range. Something we can have for the two days without costing an arm and a leg. The range I shoot at (Gilbert's Indoor Range) is asking for $200 an hour for the pistol side of the range (F THAT).
See what Range 82 has to say. Stafford/Quantico area.

Hope I'm not too late, I'm down for a handgun course.
JeepDriver,
What ranges are you considering?
I tell ya - I would take pistol or carbine(lean toward the latter) and would go for anything in the immediate area as travel is key for me in my situation.
Magpul is booked until 2011. I'm going to meet up with a friend and try to narrow down a time in 2011 to book a class. We need to get the club schedule and work around that.
Thanks Jeepdriver, I would still like to participate in a 2011 class.
