50% off the #10 cans is a killer deal but for pouches go here and buy the military pouches instead better prices and much more protein (meat). Fewer menus but much more bang for your buck.
https://nitro-pak.com/food/
example per pouch
MH Beef Stroganoff - $9.89 560 Calories 12 grams protein
MH Beef Stroganoff Military - $9.59 600 Calories 27 grams protein
As an alternative check out Peal Refuel a little more but two servings per pouch.
Peak Refuel Beef Stroganoff - $11.19 810 Calories 41 grams protein
Thanks!
Your math is wrong, the standard Mountain House Beef Stroganoff Adventure Meal is 12 grams of protein per serving, but each bag has 2 servings, so 24 grams per bag. The MH Beef Stroganoff Pro Paks are 27 grams of protein for the entire bag. So only 3 grams of protein difference.
Also don't understand the pricing you listed. Why would someone purchase from Nitro-Pak when they could get both the standard Adventure Meal (7.69 USD) and the Pro Pak (8.39 USD) direct from Mountain House for cheaper?
Don't know how they taste (the Mountain Houses have consistently been the most palatable freeze dried/dehydrated meals in a pouch I've had), but the Peak Refuel have only a shelf life of 5 years, compared to Mountain House's 30 years, if someone is buying this stuff for prepping purposes.
I do not see the military MCW packs, even though there is a military menu item. Where can I get this one?

Thanks for the heads up on these. I use freeze dried meals a lot for backpacking/hunting/SAR, and i've found MountainHouse to be my favorites. Just picked up some more bags for this fall, as well as #10 cans for long term food storage.
I don't believe Mountain House has one directly, I get mine from here: https://pro.libertymountain.com/mountain_house
Thanks for posting!
Mountian House clearly sold off our emails based on the food/cooking spam that immediately started filling my inbox after ordering.
Mountain House recommends LWRC for your carbine requirements. Now you know the rest of the story!
Havent seen either. In the past I've used the second trick here to nail people selling my info:

Emergency Essentials has pretty good prices on #10 cans. Especially when it comes to non-meat items.

Glad I saw this, I am probably going to snag some of those at these prices.
I have been wanting to get a home freeze drying unit but that is going to have to wait a bit. I am hoping they come down in cost after a while. Great way to preserve fruits and vegetables that will have a long stable shelf life.
You're doing good with your long range preps. Those freeze-drying units can be a god send but I'm too lazy to get into that. For the last two years, I've been slowing stocking up with freeze dried/dehydrated fruits and vegetables. I've gone fanboy with Augason Farms. Their website prices are high but there are decent deals for their products on Amazon and Walmart. You have to keep watch on the prices though on a regular basis. They can range from absurdly high to a "Okay" I can afford it. Most of Augason farms products have 25 to 30 year shelf life. Anything with a high fat content will have a shelf life of 5 to 10 years. Buy accordingly to your expected life span!!! Keep Prepping!!!
