I thought about this and I knew the really nice AK the ANA had were made in eastern europe. I thought they said it was czech. Maybe croatian? bulgarian? I knew the russian ones because of the cyrillic lettering but it was different it had roman lettering and was not stamped.
but it was one of the nicest AK's I had seen (regardless of the colored electrical tape) It had no slop at all in any of it and shot smooth as glass. I wanted to steal it really bad.
Sorry for talking out of my ass, I honestly thought it was czech and it was not a VZ 58 i know that.
That aside I also kind of take the ability to smith and having access to a press for granted some times.
but I still think that paying extra for a milled receiver is worth it
